Research
and pedagogy

This work has been carried out in collaboration with the dancer and choreographer Hana Polanská Turečková since 2016. Its aim is to question, test and share theoretical knowledge on the links between the visual arts and dance. For example, how should the tools of graphic composition be used in dance?

This research, nourished among others by the practices of Rudolf Laban and Oskar Schlemmer, questions the ways of using the tools of graphic composition in dance. It constitutes an approach that allows us to better define our practices, and to deepen our creative work through dialogue.

The presentation of our research is fairly free, varying between lectures, performances and instances of visual art such as drawings and mind maps.

This collaboration has also allowed us to develop an educational project consisting of:

2018 : Course content “Image Theatre” for the Master of Physical Theatre at the University of Theatre and Music in Brno, JAMU.

2019-2020 : Course in Choreographic Composition and Movement Analysis at the Private Higher School of Applied Arts Scholastika, Prague.
