The Matière Mobile comany was launched in Lyon in January 2021. 

Its purpose is to support and develop Marie Gourdain’s choreographic work and to represent it in France.

Having lived for many years in the Czech Republic, where she began her choreographic work as a member of the tYhle collective, Marie is today pursuing her career by developing a base in France that focuses on her solo work.

 

Her experience of living abroad, immersed in another culture, has allowed her to develop a spirit of openness and initiative.

Now settled in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, a region to which she is very attached, she wants to develop a new facet of her work, though without forgetting the links she has created in Europe and the richness offered by international collaborations.
